Child Safety & CSAE Standards

ReelShort Child Safety Standards

ReelShort enforces a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to all users, content uploads, comments, profiles, and interactions in the app.

1) Prohibited Content and Behavior

  • Any CSAM, sexualized content involving minors, or exploitative depiction of minors.
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation, trafficking-related behavior, or predatory contact with minors.
  • Requests for, sharing of, or linking to CSAM or CSAE-related content on any platform.
  • Any account activity that promotes or facilitates child abuse or exploitation.

2) Prevention, Detection, and Enforcement

  • ReelShort uses moderation workflows that include user reports and manual review actions.
  • Suspected violating content can be removed immediately while under review.
  • Accounts can be restricted, suspended, or permanently banned for child safety violations.
  • Repeat or severe violations are escalated with highest priority enforcement.

3) In-App Reporting and User Safety Tools

  • Users can report content and accounts directly in-app.
  • Users can block accounts to prevent further interaction.
  • Reports involving potential minors are prioritized for urgent review.

4) Legal Compliance and Authority Reporting

  • ReelShort complies with applicable child safety laws and reporting obligations in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Where required by law, reportable CSAM/CSAE incidents are referred to the appropriate authorities.
  • Relevant records may be retained for security, legal compliance, and investigations.
